4minute’s new mini album

Coming sooner than you think~

Rookie group 4minute recently debuted this June with their first single “Hot Issue” going on to become a moderate hit. Not bad at all. The group was originally scheduled to release a second single, “Muzik“, off of their new album “For Muzik” on August 24th. Either Cube Entertainment is scared that 4minute is disappearing from the spotlight or their new mini album is amazing because the release date has been pushed forward to this Thursday, August 20th.

Unfortunately, ready to rain on their parade, netizens have been firing complaints against 4minute for their new album cover. Why? Well, complaints have been rolling in over Ga-yoon, claiming that the thinness of her thighs in the album picture is sending negative body images to young Korean girls. AHAHAH~as if all the rampant cosmetic surgery among celebrities wasn’t already making girls insecure about how they naturally look.

Some netizens are blaming Cube Entertainment for purposely airbrushing her thighs, and have deemed Ga-yoon “unhealthy” and “bony.”

Although her thigh does seem un-proportionately thin in the album cover, doesn’t every artist dab in a little airbrushing now and then? The real interesting points of the album cover are that GaYoon’s left foot seems to have disappeared and that JiYoon looks eerily similar to Wondergirl Yoobin.
